I was curious to see if there were any similar characteristics between Ella and Colby. I went through some pictures and tried to match up pictures of Colby with Ella at that same age. Here is what I can up with. What do you think?

Ella LOVES to sing lately. She often sings the ABC's, Rock-a-bye Baby and the Itsy Bitsy Spider. In this video she is singing the Itsy Bitsy Spider. She loves to sing it for willing ears! Enjoy :)

Colby is One Month Old!

Colby is one month old today! How time flies! He is now a 10 lb baby who loves to eat, sleep and be with his big sister! He also loves to look around at bright colors and is starting to talk a little. He is definitely a happy boy!

Ella's Swim Lessons

A few weeks ago Ella attended her first set of swim lessons. She had such a great time! She LOVES to be in the water! It was a parent/child class so Casey and I took turns swimming with her. She learned to swim under water, on her belly and back, blow bubbles and kick her feet while paddling her arms. She will go onto the next level this fall.

Ella really liked jumping into the pool. At the start of swim lessons she needed to hold onto one of our hands to jump in. By the end of the lessons she was jumping in like this!

Baby Showers

While Ella and I were in Maine my family and friends surprised me with a wonderful baby shower on Great Diamond Island in Casco Bay. We had dinner on the lawn of Diamond's Edge restaurant and enjoyed the ocean views.

My friends in Alabama also threw me a surprise baby shower! It feels so wonderful to have such caring friends after living here such a short time! I want to especially thank Ben and Crystal for arranging this. They are a true blessing to our family!

Riding a Horse

When we were in Maine we visited with many family members. While visiting with my Aunt Melanie and Uncle Galen, Elle had a chance to ride one of their horses. Although she didn't show much emotion at the time she did enjoy it. She keeps talking about the next time she will be able to ride one of the "horsies" again.

Me and my D.D. Dolls

For those of you who know Ella, you know she LOVES Dora (D.D. in our house). Today after nap I noticed she was collecting all of her Dora stuffed animals and dolls and putting them in a pile. I could not resist taking a picture of her with them. Look how happy she is!

I didn't realize it at the time but she even has a Dora band aid on her arm. :)

Gracie's Birthday Party

During our trip to Maine Ella went to her cousin's fourth birthday party at a dance studio. All the girls danced for a long time and enjoyed yummy cupcakes and ice cream. It was such a fun time and everyone was dressed beautifully!
